I first visited the Reefert Church which dates from around 1100 with the wife of one of the French members of the conference.

My favourite picture. The stone circular enclosure in the background is called the "Caher" and is of an unknown date.

Beee....

The round tower from yet another perspective.

Saturday evening there was a so called EuroCocktail whereby everyone attending to the conference brought something specific from there country.
A lot of strong drinks ...

On Saturday the conference started. They had a meeting in the morning which they probably found real interesting, but I preferred to go for a walk.

If you look closely you can see St. Kevin's Bed. It is a small rectangular church according to the Visitor's Guide. I couldn't get any closer because it is only accessible by boat.

View from the old mining settlement along St. Kevin's road.

After the lunch the entire group made a walk up a newly made board walk up one of the most popular routes.

... and some nice food.
